CEF

CEF is the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and is intended to guide many facets of language acquisition, including the planning of language programs, planning of language certification, and planning of self directed learning. The Framework states that programs may be: global, covering all dimensions; modular, concentrated in a particular area for particular purpose; weighted, emphasizing learning in select areas; or partial, learning for a specific purpose (e.g. career).
